ABOUT

I started my career as a teacher. I have taught richly diverse communities of learners, worked 1-1 with parents, and provided quality customer service to all I encounter. I have certifications in Special Education, Spanish, Math, Language Arts, and ESL. See my specialized list below.

I have extensive experience providing professional development in the educational and medical fields. I can tailor any topic for a single workshop, series, collaboration, or whatever your particular needs are. I have led in-services on topics ranging from strategies for IEP/ESL needs, to Autism, to Speaking Spanish in the Medical Profession.

I have co-created the Autistic Support Program at Upper Dublin School District. In so doing, I also collaborated with Cathy Grayson, Autism expert and worked with her in developing social stories. I have heard Temple Grandin speak and have attended several Autism conferences.

As a public school Special Education teacher for over 12 years, I have cultivated knowledge of the inner workings of the public school system, how Special Education works, and how to get the results you are looking for your child. See my "review" section.
